Welcome to Lauralton Hall's alumnae online community. Alumnae events, news and volunteer opportunities will be posted here, so please visit frequently to find out what's happening at Lauralton.

Homecoming, traditionally held the third weekend of September, is for all alumnae, not only those celebrating a reunion. Homecoming 2012 is set for the weekend of September 14-16, 2012. Details will be posted in the spring. Reunion classes are encouraged to contact the Alumnae Relations Office for advice and assistance on planning their special reunions.

Homecoming Invitations are on their way!

Spread the word! Homecoming Soiree is Saturday, September 15th at 5 pm - Mass kicks off at 5:30 p.m. with the Soiree at 6:30 pm. If your class year ends in a 2 or 7 you are a reunion year and we encourage you and your classmates to celebrate at the Soiree!! GUESTS ARE WELCOME!!

The Golden Girls Annual Luncheon is at noon on Sunday, September 16th - This event celebrates all alumnae who have celebrated 50 or more years. We will officially welcome the new golden girls of the Class of 1962!

Class of 2012 Planted Their Class Tree

Congratulations to our newest alumnae - the Class of 2012. They joined in the annual tradition of planting a class tree. In celebration of Arbor Day and in conjunction with the Alumnae Induction Ceremony, the graduating class plants a tree which serves to remind each young alumna of the Mercy values which took root in her heart during her Lauralton years. This year, the Class of 2012 chose to express their commitment to community and global awareness by planting their class tree on the Milford green. Working in collaboration with Kate Orecchio of the Milford Tree Commission, a scarlet oak was planted on the Milford green on May 17.

The Lauralton Line

We’re excited at how popular the all new Lauralton Line, the school store for logo apparel and merchandise, has become. The store carries many items including sweatshirts, sweatpants, boxers, hats, umbrellas and more for Lauralton students, parents and alums, as well as traditional back-to-school items - zip drives, pens, pencils, notebooks and such. We even carry items for decorating birthday lockers! Located in new space in the former visitors’ dining room, the store is open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm. Parents interested in helping staff the store should contact clopata@lauraltonhall.org. Please stop in and let us know what you would like to see in the Lauralton Line.

Help Lauralton earn cash back for your Stop & Shop purchases

McAuley Parents Association (MPA) has enrolled Lauralton Hall in Stop & Shop’s A+ School Rewards, a program that gives schools the ability to earn cash back on Stop & Shop purchases. Reward points accrue with each purchase using a Stop & Shop card that has been registered with the program with Lauralton Hall designated as one of up to two recipient schools.

Online registration is easy; your Stop & Shop card number is all you need to start helping Lauralton accrue points. Please click here and follow the simple steps to register your Stop & Shop card and designate Lauralton Hall as your recipient school for the A+ School Rewards program. And please spread the word since anyone can register their card. Thank you for your support!
